Basic Civic Integration Exam

Obtain a provisional residence permit (MVV)

This course is aimed at partners of Dutch citizens, who reside abroad and who wish to stay in the Netherlands for a long period of time.

Why this course?

Many students have difficulty with the learning method called "Naar Nederland", which is advised by the Dutch government. Nederles understands these difficulties and provides a more structured solution. Reading and speaking are taught successfully with a clear and proven step-by-step ethod. This way, Nederles prepares you for the 3 main parts of the Basic Civic Integration Exam:

  • Speaking
  • Reading skills
  • Knowledge of Dutch society

What can you expect from Nederles?

Using Zoom, the student is guided intensively, while training vocabulary and pronunciation. After each lesson, the student will be given a homework assignment, to practise for themselves. The duration of the course depends on the situation of the student:

  • what is their current understanding of the Dutch language,
  • how much time is available to study in between lessons,
  • and when does the student wish to sit the exam?

On average, 15 to 25 lessons of one hour will be required.

Are you interested to know how long your training will take? Request an interview and we will make an estimate, based on your personal situation.

Prepared for you exam

When the student is ready to sit the exam, their partner in the Netherlands, can request the exam by visiting the Dutch government website Naar Nederland. After payment to the Dutch government, the Dutch consulate or the local Dutch embassy will contact you for an appointment.
